On June 16th, Liu Xiaotao, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, accompanied by Li Yaowu, Deputy Director of the General Office of Zhejiang Provincial Government; Shen Lei, Deputy Director of the Finance Department of Zhejiang Province; Sun Feixiang, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Department of Zhejiang Province; Chen Dehong, Deputy Mayor of Shaoxing City; County Magistrate Huang Xurong and other accompanying persons came to FOMDAS for investigation. Chairman Xu Xiaofang accompanied the whole research.
Vice Governor Liu visited the Comprehensive Exhibition Hall and the Food Testing Center. During this time, Chairman Xu briefed Vice Governor Liu on company’s development history, industrial layout, scientific and technological innovation, digital construction, market development, social contribution, safety system of agricultural product and other aspects.
Vice Governor Liu nodded his head frequently during the visiting. In the exhibition hall, he casually took one of the products on display and asked about it in detail. He expressed his high appreciation for the achievements made by FOMDAS in the processing and export of cut flowers and canned oranges. He spoke highly of FOMDAS’ efforts to develop both domestic and foreign markets. And he was interested in FOMDAS’ new products, which are produced from discarded peels and young fruit. Vice Governor Liu also kindly asked the technical equipment, social needs and other aspects of new products, and Chairman Xu answered them one by one.
Vice Governor Liu encouraged enterprises to always put food safety in the first place and do a good job of “Food Safety”. He stressed that to control the food safety issues from two aspects, one is source control, the other is to maintain food safety through the demand-side anti-driving mechanism. He expressed his affirmation of the construction of the product quality traceability system and the achievements of the enterprise development over the years. Through its quality system and testing capacity building, FOMDAS is at the forefront of the industry in food safety. He hoped that FOMDAS would not forget its original intention, continue to strengthen the control of quality, and continue to produce products that people dare to buy and eat, and turn the enterprise into “Sunshine Factory”, “Green Factory” and “Digital Agricultural Factory”.
